Information You Provide
VEYR collects information you choose to submit, including your name or creator/studio name, contact email, project title, description, links, credits, tools used, media links, and other submission details. We also receive information in correction requests, rights notices, and other communications you send us.
Do not submit confidential information, passwords, financial account information, government identification numbers, health information, proprietary source code, or other sensitive personal information.
Information Collected Automatically
VEYR is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, request and response metadata, browser and device information, requested URLs, timestamps, and diagnostic, security, or performance data to deliver and protect the site.
The VEYR application does not currently run an audience analytics service, advertising network, affiliate tracker, or sponsor tracker. It does not set analytics or advertising cookies and does not use localStorage or sessionStorage on public pages.
Embedded and Linked Services
VEYR may load privacy-enhanced YouTube embeds or Vimeo embeds for approved media. These providers may receive technical information when an embed loads or when you interact with it. Links to Steam, Reddit, X, creator sites, stores, and other third parties take you to services governed by their own policies.
How We Use Information
- Review creator and project submissions and contact submitters when needed.
- Research, write, edit, publish, update, and correct editorial coverage.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve VEYR.
- Prevent abuse, spam, fraud, and security incidents.
- Respond to privacy, correction, and rights requests and comply with legal obligations.
How We Share Information
Cloudflare provides VEYR hosting, security, request processing, and the D1 database used to store submission records. We may also share information when you direct us to publish it, when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect VEYR, creators, rights holders, readers, or the public.
VEYR does not sell personal information for money. VEYR does not currently use an advertising network or share visitor information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Public Submissions
If VEYR covers a submitted project, publication may include information intended for public use, such as creator/studio name, project title, credits, project links, descriptions, and approved promotional media. Do not put private contact information in project fields intended for publication.
Retention and Security
VEYR retains submission and editorial records as reasonably necessary for review, sourcing, permissions, corrections, rights status, security, legal compliance, and publication history. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
You may ask about personal information you submitted, request correction or deletion subject to editorial, legal, security, and recordkeeping needs, or request removal of published contact information.
Children and Changes
VEYR is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service changes; the effective date above will be revised when we do.
