Editorial Principles
VEYR exists to discover and elevate exceptional games, films, creators, and creative work shaped by AI. We prioritize creativity, craft, originality, thoughtful use of AI, entertainment value, creator attribution, transparency about how work was made, and quality over volume. AI use alone is not a reason for coverage.
Editorial Independence
VEYR makes editorial decisions independently. Advertisers, sponsors, tool companies, studios, creators, and other commercial partners cannot buy favorable editorial opinion, a VEYR Pick, an editorial Featured placement, a specific review outcome, or suppression of legitimate criticism.
Sponsored or paid material is labeled clearly enough for readers to understand that it is commercial content.
Sponsorships and Advertising
VEYR may accept advertising or sponsorship relevant to its audience. Material commercial relationships that could reasonably affect how readers interpret a recommendation or endorsement are disclosed. Paid placements are visually and verbally distinguishable from independent editorial content.
VEYR Picks
VEYR Picks are editorial selections. A company, creator, sponsor, advertiser, or partner cannot purchase VEYR Pick status.
Creator Coverage and Attribution
VEYR prioritizes the people behind the work, not only companies and products. Where practical, coverage identifies and links to the creator or studio, original project, primary source, relevant production methods, and original creator media or official promotional assets.
AI-Assisted Editorial Work
VEYR may use AI tools to assist with research organization, drafting, transcription, metadata, media preparation, monitoring, coding, and workflow automation. AI-generated output is not self-verifying. Material factual claims still require review against reliable sources, particularly names, credits, quotes, results, dates, legal claims, and project details.
Corrections and Updates
VEYR accepts correction requests. Include the VEYR page URL, the statement you believe is wrong or incomplete, the correct information, and a reliable source when available. When a material factual error is confirmed, VEYR will correct it as reasonably appropriate; significant changes may be noted.
Stories may also be updated as projects change, new media becomes available, new facts emerge, or creators provide clarification. An update is not necessarily a correction.
Conflicts and Disclosures
Writers, editors, contractors, and contributors should disclose material relationships that could reasonably call their independence into question. When VEYR has a direct commercial relationship with a covered company or project, that relationship is disclosed when relevant to the reader’s evaluation.
Removal Requests
VEYR considers removal requests case by case, including factual accuracy, privacy, ownership, safety, legal obligations, source reliability, archival value, and whether replacing media or correcting a detail resolves the concern.
