Fotor announced Fotor Agent on September 15, describing a system that turns a brief or supplied assets into a video project whose components remain editable. The company says it plans sequences, generates supporting material and assembles separate tracks for footage, voice, music, effects, subtitles and motion graphics.
The distinction is what happens after generation: Fotor says creators can revise individual elements through the editor or conversational instructions instead of regenerating an entire finished video. Its product page presents starting points for explainers, product launches, advertisements and other video formats.
Why It Matters
For AI-native filmmaking, generating a convincing shot is only part of production. Keeping timing, sound and graphic elements separately editable could make iteration more practical as a sequence grows. That is the workflow promise to evaluate here.
